Riserva is billed through Shopify: the subscription appears on your regular Shopify bill, alongside your other apps. There are no separate invoices, no card to enter, and — this matters — no per-reservation fees. The price is flat no matter how many reservations you take.

The plan

Riserva Pro — $199/month, with a 14-day free trial. Pro includes everything in the app, for up to 1,000 reservations a month: unlimited experiences and one-off events (including ticketed events), every venue and floor map, the booking widget, guest emails, reports, and the Klaviyo and Shopify Flow integrations. Taking more than 1,000 reservations a month? Contact us about higher volume. The trial starts when you approve the plan, and you can cancel any time during it without being charged.
Good to know Many reservation platforms charge a monthly fee plus a percentage of every prepaid reservation. Riserva never takes a cut of your reservations — what your guests pay is yours.

Choosing and managing your plan

Plan selection happens on a Shopify-hosted page, not inside Riserva:
  • On install — the first time you open Riserva without a plan, it takes you to Shopify’s plan page. Choose a plan there and Shopify brings you straight back into the app.
  • Any time after — go to Settings → Plan in Riserva and select Manage plan. The same Shopify page lets you review, change or cancel.
The Plan card in Settings always shows your current plan, and it always agrees with Shopify’s plan page and with Settings → Apps → Riserva → Billing in your Shopify admin. Development stores. On a Shopify Partner development store Riserva is free and never asks for a plan — the Plan card reads Development store · free. Shopify does not take paid app charges on a development store, so there is nothing to choose there. When the store goes live, Riserva takes you to Shopify’s plan page like any other store.

Cancelling

Cancel from the same Shopify plan page, or by uninstalling the app — Shopify cancels the subscription when an app is removed. Riserva’s own records — your setup and your reservations — are deleted 48 hours after an uninstall, when Shopify asks for them to be; your Shopify orders, products and customers stay. See Uninstalling Riserva and what happens to your data. A plan you cancel does not stop at once. Shopify keeps it active until the period you are in runs out — for a cancellation during the trial, the day the trial would have ended — and that is also true if you uninstall Riserva and come back before then. During that time:
  • Riserva keeps working.
  • A notice at the top of every page reads “Riserva Pro ends” with the date (“Riserva Pro is ending” when Shopify gives no date), with View plan, which opens Shopify’s plan page. Settings → Plan shows the same. You can dismiss the notice; it comes back the next time you open Riserva in a new browser tab or window.
  • If you reinstall Riserva, it shows you Shopify’s plan page once and then opens as usual. While your plan is still current, that page shows it as “Current” with its expiry date and has nothing to select.
  • After the end date, Riserva takes you to the plan page each time you open it until you choose a plan.
Renewing before the end date. Shopify’s plan page has nothing to select while your plan is still current, so Riserva offers Renew now to the store owner, in the notice and in Settings → Plan. It ends your current plan today and takes you to Shopify’s plan page to choose and approve a plan. Riserva asks first, in a window titled “Renew Riserva Pro now?”: End plan and choose a new one goes ahead, Keep my current plan changes nothing. Until a plan is approved, Riserva’s admin is unavailable; your storefront booking widget, the POS tiles and existing reservations keep working. Any credit for unused paid time is settled by Shopify. Staff who are not the store owner do not see Renew now; they are told to ask the owner.
