How Riserva knows who’s a member
Your club members already carry tags on their Shopify customer records —club-gold, wine-club, whatever you use. Under Settings → Memberships →
Member recognition, type each tag into Member tags and press Enter.
Guests carrying any of those tags count as members.
Nothing new to maintain. If your club software tags customers, Riserva reads it.
What guests and staff see
- On the storefront, a logged-in member sees members-only experiences with their times and can book them. Everyone else sees the same card, with its Book button but no times — unless the experience is set not to show to non-members at all: on the experience’s page, under Who can book, the box Show it to non-members as locked, with a link to join decides it. When a non-member presses Book, the booking window opens on a “Reserved for members” notice that makes the pitch: your message, a join button and Sign in.
- What that notice says is yours, under Settings → Memberships →
Members-only experiences: a Message to non-members (blank uses a
built-in sentence), a Join link (a page on your store such as
/pages/wine-club, or a full web address), a Join button label (“Join to book” unless you change it) and Which button leads — join first with Sign in underneath (the default), or the other way round. Save them with the same Save bar as your member tags. With no join link, the window offers Sign in only. Each Riserva block on your store (Experience booking or Experiences list) can point at a different join link in its own settings. - In the admin, member reservations carry a Member badge — on the reservations list, on Home, on host rows, and on the reservation page. On the register, the Reservations and Book reservation tiles show the same Member badge.
Known limits
- Members must be logged in to your store for the website to recognise them.
